HCR Law - Charity Partners Walk
We're delighted to share some exciting news: HCR Law's Cheltenham office is a walk sponsor for Roam & Wonder and it's a partnership we're incredibly proud of.
The day before our sponsored community walk, we joined the HCR Law team for a private charity walk together.
They brought together some of their team and three of the charities they are currently supporting - Linc Charity, Cheltenham Animal Shelter, & Read With Me. It was a wonderful opportunity to not only hear about how HCR Law is working with and supporting these local charities, but also to hear more about the charities themselves and the work they do. Being able to walk side by side with people from these organisations gave a beautiful space to talk freely while also getting our steps in, enjoying the fresh air on a Friday afternoon and to explore some of the hidden gems of Cheltenham - a perfect end to a work week.
The Cheltenham Urban Community Walk
HCR Law have sponsored our Cheltenham Urban Walk - a beautiful walk through Cheltenham town and the many beautiful parks we have right on our doorstep. Like all our walks, it was open to everyone and completely free to attend. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the same route from the day before, this time with our community.

HCR Law's roots in Cheltenham run deep - the firm has been part of the town since 1796, and their Cheltenham office is now the largest in the entire firm, providing the full range of legal services for businesses and individuals across Gloucestershire, the South West, and beyond. CSR is described as an essential part of HCR Law's culture and ethos, and their Cheltenham staff regularly volunteer their time for local causes, from supporting the Pied Piper Appeal to dedicating serious time and muscle power to revamping the Cheltenham Hospital Oncology Centre Garden. It's also not the first time their team has laced up their walking boots for a good cause - they've previously taken on a charity fundraising walk over Cleeve Hill, right on Cheltenham's doorstep.
Why this matters
Roam & Wonder exists because we believe everyone should be able to get outside, get moving, and connect with the people around them, regardless of ability, budget, or background.
