This is a day designed to remind you what it feels like to be fully present. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Elkstone Studios in the Cotswolds, we’ve woven together everything we love most — movement, nourishing food, meaningful conversation, and creative expression — into a single, unhurried day.
Roam & Wonder and Proud Phoenix Club have come together to hold space for a group of people who are ready to slow down and reconnect. Whether that connection is to themselves, to the people around them, or to the natural world — this day is for you.

We’ll welcome you to Elkstone Studios with fresh coffee and pastries from Knead Bakery — a moment to breathe, land, and meet the people sharing the day with you.

Once everyone has arrived, James from Proud Phoenix Club opens the day. He’ll introduce himself, share the story behind the collaboration, why Roam & Wonder and Proud Phoenix have come together, and guide you in setting your intentions for what lies ahead.

We head out into the Cotswold countryside on a gentle guided walk led by Roam & Wonder. As we walk, we’ll share why connection matters so deeply to our community, and invite you to notice what’s alive around — and within — you. Keep your eyes open for colours, textures and natural finds to use in the afternoon’s artwork.
Lunch in the Elk Tipi
Back at Elkstone, we gather beneath the Elk Tipi for a beautiful grazing table lunch provided by Roots & Seeds Kitchen Garden — seasonal, nourishing and made with love.
Roots & Seeds Kitchen GardenIntuitive painting workshop with Hannah Gabe
The heart of the afternoon. Hannah Gabe (Lady Gabe) guides a gently held, intuitive painting workshop on A5 canvas — no artistic experience needed. Inspired by the morning’s walk, your word, feeling or intention for the day, you’ll create something entirely your own to take home.

We close the day gently from around 4pm. There’s no rush — linger as long as you like, say your goodbyes slowly, and leave when you’re ready. We’ll aim to be wrapped up by 5pm, with artwork in hand and a limited edition Connection t-shirt to carry the feeling home with you.
Creating Space
Our afternoon workshop is led by artist and facilitator Hannah Gabe. Using mixed media — acrylics, soft pastels, charcoal, and textures gathered on the morning’s walk — participants create a personal A5 canvas artwork inspired by a word, feeling or intention.
The finished piece acts as a visual anchor — something tangible to take home as a reminder of what you wish to embody moving forward.
