By booking a retreat, you agree to these terms.

1. Health and fitness
Retreat activities involve physical effort and uneven terrain. You must tell us about any health condition, injury, disability, medication need, allergy or dietary requirement that could affect your ability to take part or your safety. Please do this before booking, or as soon as you become aware of it. We may adjust your participation, or decline it, if we reasonably believe it is unsafe for you or the group. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for judging whether an activity is right for you.

2. Photography and video
We photograph and film our retreats. Anything we capture may be used and shared by us as we see fit, including on our website, social media and marketing. If you would prefer not to be included, tell us before the retreat and we will make every effort to keep you out of it. We are not responsible for photos or videos taken by other guests or third parties.

3. Insurance
We strongly recommend you take out your own travel and personal insurance. It should cover cancellation, medical costs, personal belongings and accidents. We are not responsible for costs you could have covered with insurance.

4. Your responsibilities
Please wear suitable footwear and clothing, bring what we advise, and follow guide and leader instructions. Look after your own belongings. We may ask anyone whose behaviour endangers or upsets others to leave without a refund.

5. Cancellations and changes by us
Safety comes first. We may change routes, timings or activities because of weather, ground conditions or safety concerns. We are not responsible for cancellations or disruption caused by events outside our control, including severe weather, pandemics, illness, or government restrictions.

If a venue cancels our booking, we will do our best to find a suitable replacement. If we can't, you will be offered a full refund or the option to exchange your booking for another retreat.

6. Bookings and payments
Retreats require a £150 deposit to secure your place. The deposit is non-refundable, but it may be transferred to another retreat once only.

The remaining balance can be paid in monthly instalments, or in full one month before the retreat.

If instalments or the final payment are not settled one month before the retreat, your place may not be granted and any payments made will be non-refundable. We may, at our discretion, allow a slightly later settlement date. Any extension must be agreed by both parties in writing.

7. Cancellation by you
If you cancel your place more than two months before the retreat, we keep your £150 deposit, which is non-refundable, and any other payments made are returned. The deposit may be transferred to another retreat once only.

If you cancel within two months of the retreat, 50% of the total retreat price is payable. Any payments already made count towards this, and any unpaid amount remains due.

8. Liability
We take reasonable care in planning and running our retreats. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss, damage, injury or illness that is not caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot legally be limited.
